Our speaker this week is Professor Kendall Moore who is a full professor in the Departments of Journalism and Film Media where she also serves as Coordinator for Environmental Justice Journalism in the College of Environment and Life Sciences. She is also a multiple award winning documentary filmmaker whose work has appeared on PBS and featured in numerous film festivals and multiple awards, including two Fulbright Scholar Awards, Rhode Island Fellowship for Outstanding Filmmaking, two Metcalf Awards for Excellence in Journalism and a NAACP award for excellence in documentary filmmaking.
